This property with an existing garage on State Street Parkway was lacking green space. We are accustomed to working in tight spaces with efficiency – in this case, we craned in a steel skeleton over the garage. The car is still housed below, with the open space above filled with natural light and supporting mature vegetation. This modern approach incorporates natural marble floors, two fountains, lightweight soil planters and snow melt to stretch the seasons for the homeowners to enjoy this urban oasis.
